Auction Block To view the auction listings for a particular county, click on the county name or scroll down with the arrow at the right side of your screen.
Daily Listings Daily Listings can be accessed by selecting the Daily Listings Option from the main menu of Redloc Online. This option should be used if your selection criteria includes the document type, county or counties and date range. Upon selecting Daily Listings, you will be asked to select a document type. Please note that only document types you currently subscribe to will appear as options. Select a document type by clicking your mouse on the radio button preceding the document type you wish to choose, then select the NEXT button. You will then be asked to select a county. To select a county, click the radio button preceding that county. Please remember that only the counties you currently subscribe to will be listed as options, then select the NEXT button. You must then select a date type. Publication date is the date Redloc publishes the information on this site. The recording date is the date the document is filed at the county recorder. Select one of the options by clicking the radio button preceding that option, then click the NEXT button. Type in a date range in the format (mm/dd/yyyy). If you are selecting a specific day, type only the start date. For a date range, you must type in both dates. Redloc Online stores information for up to ninety days. If your account remained active the entire time, you will be able to access ninety days worth of information. Otherwise, you will be able to access data from the starting date of your account and on. Upon typing the date or date range, click the FINISH button. You will be given a screen which tells you the number of records the search found. You will be asked, at this point, what you would like to do with the data.
View these listings on the screen After selecting view these listings on screen, a list of the first 25 listings will be displayed. To view the next 25, select NEXT 25 from the top right corner of your screen. To go back to the previous 25, select PREVIOUS 25 from the top right corner of your screen. To go back to the first 25, select FIRST 25 from the top right corner of your screen. To view the last listings, select LAST from the top right corner of your screen. To view a specific listing, select GOTO from the top right corner of your screen. Then type in the number of that listing and hit GOTO.
Detail Information To view additional information on a specific listing, click the address of that listing. To print this information to your printer, select the printer icon in your browser or select file then print from the pull-down menu in your browser.
Map-It For a property map and driving directions click the MAP-It! Button. This links you to Yahoo's mapping system. When you select map-it, another window will appear. To maximize this window, click the box at the top right corner of that window. To close the window, click the X at the top right corner of that window.
Print Reports To print the daily listings click, PRINT from the top left corner of your screen. There are two report options, the table of contents and the detail report. A brief explanation of the two types is given on the Print Listings page. Select the report type, and hit the next button. When the page is finished loading, click the print icon from your browser or select file and then print from the pull-down menu in your browser. (Please note: if there are a large number of records it may take some time for the page to load. Please be patient)
Print Preview these listings To print the daily listings without viewing them on screen, select Print Preview these listings. There are two report options, the table of contents and the detail report. A brief explanation of the two types is given on the Print Listings page. Select the report type, and hit the next button. When the page is finished loading, click the print icon from your browser or select file and then print from the pull-down menu in your browser. Downloading Select download from Redloc Online's main menu Select the document type you wish to download. Please note that document types will only be listed if your subscription includes them. Select the county or counties you wish to download, click the NEXT button. Select the File Type. Click the NEXT button. You will be given a list of dates, these are the files you can download. To select a date, click the right side of your mouse and select save target as from the pull-down menu. This will pull up a save as box. Click the arrow next to the save in box to change the location of the file you're downloading. Hit the save button.
HUD Listings After selecting the HUD Listings option from the homepage, a form will appear. You can choose one of two options, run a search or view the entire list.
Search Type in the city name, # of bedrooms or case number you wish to search on, then hit the search button. A list of HUD homes in California meeting the criteria you specified will appear. To print the list, click the Print icon from your browser or select file, print from the pull-down menu.
Show Me Entire List Selecting the 'Show me entire list' option, lists all California HUD listings on your screen. To print this listing, select your print icon in your browser or select file, print from the pull-down menu in your browser.
Key Rates When you select Key Rates (Interest Rate Indexes) from Redloc Online's homepage, you see a list of current key rates. Redloc updates this section when there's a change in the interest rate indexes. Rates are shown in percentages and are given for the current day, previous day and one year ago. Select the county or counties you wish to download, click the NEXT button. Select the File Type. Click the NEXT button. You will be given a list of dates, these are the files you can download. To select a date, click the right side of your mouse and select save target as from the pull-down menu. This will pull up a save as box. Click the arrow next to the save in box to change the location of the file you're downloading. Hit the save button.
Login to Redloc Online Login You must be assigned a userid and password from the Redloc customer service department before beginning the next step. Upon receipt of your userid and password, click LOGIN from Redloc's homepage. Type in your userid in the User ID field. Type in your password in the Password field. Hit the button.
E-Mail Me You must supply Redloc's customer service department with your email address in order to use this function. If we have an email address on file for you, click the button. This will send you an email with the password to the userid you provided. If you do not know your userid or you are still having difficulty logging in, please contact Redloc customer service at (213)229-5400.
Logging Off To logoff click LOGOFF from the top right corner of your screen. If you do not logout of your session, it will be terminated once that login is used again.
Navigating the site Aside from the homepage, navigation controls are placed in the top right or bottom right corners of each screen. Navigation controls are as follows:

Printing Mailing Labels Before printing mailing labels, you must download the mailing labels program and DLL file from Redloc Online's homepage.
Step 1 - Creating a Folder for labels It is strongly recommended that you create a folder to store the data files and the two program files for labels. Open the start menu at the bottom left corner of your screen, select programs, then select windows explorer. Double-click (C:) from the left side of your screen. Select File, new, folder. Type the name of the folder (i.e. Redloc, Labels). Hit enter. Close out of windows explorer. To do this click the X button at the top right corner of that window.
Step 2 - Downloading Program Files Login to Redloc Online's Homepage. Select the download option from the main menu. Click the LABELS.EXE text from the download screen. If you do not see the LABELS.EXE text, scroll down. This text is near the bottom of your screen under other downloads. This will pull up a window. The default on this window is save this program to disk. Hit ok. Make sure the Save in folder reads the name of the folder you created in Step 1. To change the folder, click the arrow next to the current folder name. Scroll up until you see the (C:). Select C. Double-click the folder name you created from the list below. Double-click (C:) on the left side of your screen Find the name of the folder you created above. Double-click on that folder name. Hit the Save button. Repeat this procedure for the MSVBVM50.DLL file.
Step 3 - Created an Icon Get to your desktop, right click your mouse somewhere that there's not an icon. Select new Select shortcut Select new Select browse. Make sure the lookin says c: Find the folder you created above. Double-click the folder name. Double-click the labels.exe file. Hit Next. Type in a name for the shortcut (i.e. Labels), hit finish This will create an icon called labels on your desktop.
Step 4 - Downloading Files Select download from Redloc Online's main menu Select the document type you wish to generate labels from. Please note that document types will only be listed if your subscription includes them. Select the county or counties you wish to generate labels from, click the NEXT button. Select the Text File, comma delimited ASCII, with header fields File Type. Click the NEXT button. You will be given a list of dates, these are the files you can download. To select a date, click the right side of your mouse and select save target as from the pull-down menu. This will pull up a save as box. Click the arrow next to the save in box. Scroll up to the C:\, click the C:\, then find the folder you created, double-click the folder name and hit save.
Step 5 - Printing Labels Double-click the labels icon on your desktop. From the screen, select browse. Find the file you wish to generate labels from, click it and hit ok. Select the label type you wish to use. To change the label type, click the arrow in the label type field. Select all properties or only those with zip codes. Hit the print button.
Reading Foreclosure Listings Page Definitions To view the important foreclosure terms and their definitions, click Definitions, or scroll using the down arrow at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
Foreclosure Timetable To view the foreclosure timetable information, click Foreclosure Timetable, or scroll using the down arrow at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
Descriptions To view the field descriptions, click Descriptions, or scroll using the down arrow at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
Realty Datebook The realty datebook shows upcoming seminars, conferences, meetings and special events. Click on one of the bulletted options, such as meetings or seminars or scroll using the arrow at the right side of your screen.

Searching Search can be accessed by selecting the Search option from the main menu of Redloc Online. This option should be used if your search requires more specific selection criteria than document type, county and date range.
Step 1 - Selecting new or saved search Select one of the options by clicking the radio button preceding that option, then hit the next button. Select a new search when you're creating a new search. Use the load saved search option when you have saved a search and would like to rerun it or modify it.
New Search Step 2 - Selecting the document type Select one of the document types by clicking the radio button preceding the document type and click the next button.
Step 3 - Selecting the search category Select one of the search categories from the list. Please note that the most common criteria category will contain most of the sub categories you will use. To select a category, click the radio button preceding that category and hit the next button. Select one of the search items from the list. To select an item, click the radio button preceding that item and click the next button.
Step 4 - Enter the Search Criteria Enter that data you would like to search on. Please take note of the format samples on each screen. If this is the last search criteria, hit the finish button. To add another search criteria, hit the next button. This will bring you back to Step 3, selecting a search category.
Load Saved Search If you selected Load Saved Search from Step 1, you will given a list of your saved searches. To run a saved search, click the search name. To remove a search, click the remove box following the search name you want to remove. To modify a saved search, click the modify box following the search name. This will show you the categories and search criteria you've selected. To change the data in any of those fields, just remove the current data and type in the new. When you're finished changing the data, click the FINISH button.
